    I did a lot of research on this at one point, I went for the 'stomp under foot' Rams head. I'd also look at skreddy, you probably know this already.

  • Whilst not a Ram's Head clone, the Musket is worth a serious look for Gilmour tones due to the tailoring to rig and volume abilities it has.

  • I would say also check out a musket or civil war muff.


    Me I really like the later IC versions and so I got a Euthymia ICBM and it is lovely.

  • Blowing my own trumpet a bit...

    but I build a Muff based pedal that has a bit of Rams head flavour to it (plus a bit of Russian flavour for fun too).
