I built this P-Bass with the same types of woods and finish as the Jazz Bass I posted a week or so ago, Red Alder for the body finished with polyester with a flame maple maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It also needed vintage sounds and looks but with modern sounds as well.  I used a Seymour Duncan P-Bass ¼ pounder pickup with a passive volume an EMG EQ system for bass and treble cut and boost running on 18v’s. The rest of the hardware is more or less the same as the Jazz Bass.
