Hi all.
Not sure if I'm in the right category here, but hello! My name is Jonnie and I'm new to the board here. This place looks extremely helpful and I'm already enjoying the discussions here.
I hail from south east London/Kent area. I've been a guitar tech for a certain guitar company for almost 7 years and do my own repairs as well from home. I also have built a Mandolin and am now pursuing the very interesting project of turning broken dreadnoughts and jumbos into mandolins! Kind of guitar recycling :-) All work is by hand, as i have no power tools, minus a bending iron.
My current axes of choice are a Gibson LP studio, all mahogany, Gibson faded doublecut with bare knuckle p90s and a few mods here and there, a Taylor 514ce (with koa rosette) an old blue label Seagull S6 electro, my own hand built mandolin and a tanglewood banjo.
Nice to meet you all!!
