It's taken me a long time to let go of the idea that valve amps are the key to everything. I picked up this superb condition pod pro from these very forums and I love it. I'm just using it through headphones for writing and initial ideas at the moment, but I will definitely try it direct to the PA with my new band.

I was listening to Weezer yesterday and checking out what gear they used.  The singer used a POD for a few tours so it seems... and if it's good enough for Rivers...

Back on track, I was reallllly tempted by the pod HD for home recording, but I soon realised I only wanted it because I couldn't afford a Kemper, and I would still want the Kemper.

I will do some demo vids, once I'm happy with my sounds. I've recorded with the keeper and I wasn't all that blown away, I'm not really bothered by the closeness or realness of the sounds, I'm just into how good it can sound!
