You may remember the George Harrison-esque Rosewood Tele Custom I bought from Thomann? It was good.

Now it's better!

Only original parts are the rather good Wilkinson Top-Loading bridge with compensated brass saddles and the body.

Squier Standard Tele neck and tuners. Very playable but could do with the nut slots coming down a fraction.

Pickup is from Mojo, it's an immense pickup, bright without being ice pick and still has good bass.

Wiring is modified Esquire, tone and volume bypassed, normal tone and volume controls then the Mike Eldred mod which gives a cracking cocked wah middly sound rather than the silly woofly bass. Bought the wiring from eBay, some very nice work and quality components.

I think it's all come together very well and there are three distinct and usable sounds.

Just need some US Spec control knobs as I only have import/metric ones at the moment.

Off to the Thomann website I go...

... and I'm back.. Can't believe they are only £105.  I like what you have done with that it, looks much better.  How was it out of the box though?

It was pretty damn good. I got mine as a second, had a slightly high 17th fret, easily sorted. I was impressed. Decent hardware and a nice neck.
