Another Paint related question!

Does anyone know if the Hex numbers from a computer reading of a colour can be turned into a paint?...I don't really know if that made sense, but anyone with any knowledge of Colour Codes may have the answer.

I`m not certain but I think not.

You could try this:   http://www.easyrgb.com/index.php?X=CALC

Either that or look through a load of swatches until you find something close.

At http://rgb.to you can convert rgb to RAL, separate the numbers with commas or it gets confused. Might get you there.
Trouble is monitors & pc vs mac are usually all a bit different so colours shown aren't very reliable.

I've actually got the hex numbers that were used by a reputable guitar builder for the colours I want so I'm not working off my monitor colours thank God... I've seen the paint on the guitar,and its a perfect Antigua Burst so I'm pretty confident of the outcome. I'll give that site a try to see how accurate it is. Cheers man.
