Peerless guitars

What's Hot
Has anybody noticed the prices of peerless have shot up massively recently? They appear to have more than doubled. My Songbird was £400, 3 or 4 years ago, they went up to £500ish but now they have gone over 1k overnight. Some of the standard models are £1500 now. Quality wise, they don't get shown up massively by the company at that price range but still it's a massive jump. I wonder if they are outputting less and upping quality to justify the price hike?

Most of the peerless range are hollow, not semis. I tried a few of the hollow Ibanez jazz boxes before I bought my peerless and thought they were awful, very tinny sounding acoustically although to be fair the finish was okay. But the peerless sounded full and round unplugged. With regards to the Ibanez semi's I've not tried them, but the Japanese models are supposed to be very good.
