NGD: Suhr Modern Custom Order WARNING: Multiple Suhr porn inside!

What's Hot
So, some of you may have seen me frantically selling my JP6 to fund my deposit for this beast. You may have also seen my previous NGD for my bengal modern that I picked up off a member from here as a sort of "oh shit thats really cheap and my credit card has 12 months interest free on purchases so it would be TOTALLY rude not to plus it's a Tesco card so think of the POINT man, the POINTS!" and y'know, three is a collection ;)

But I digress. I put my order in for this back in Middle of august and after numerous e-mails back and forth with a lovely chap called Nich at Suhr and hours of sleepless nights deliberating over specs. The order was put in and the money was down! I bought my first modern (which can be seen below) 2 years ago and have been in love with the way it felt and sounded ever since, it caught me by surprise as I was REALLY looking for a fancy figured top one but nothing quite got me! Then out of nowhere, I had to demo an effects pedal to a customer and decided to haul this off the wall to try and BAM! I put my axe-fx on ebay and the rest is history!

So this build is very similar to my green one in terms of it's alder body, neck profile, radius and fret size.

The specs are:

Modern
Alder body
Quilt Top
Trans Faded Whale Blue burst
Roasted Maple neck .800-.850
10-14" radius Ebony fretboard with no inlays and clay side dots
Matching figured wood headstock
Natural Back with scraped binding
Fixed hipshot bridge
Locking Suhr machine heads
Suhr SSH+ and SSV Pickups chrome covered (however, these are being swapped for BKP Nailbomb (ceramic) and VHII Neck pickups)
Gig bag.

I'm so happy with how it turned out. It's slightly lighter than my green one, which I reckon is down to it not having a trem. It sounds absolutely massive with the suhr pickups and I'd keep them if it was to be kept in standard tuning. I just find their pickups don't really track well in drop C.. Acoustically the quitar warm and resonant with that percussive "Suhr" snap/feel which I adore!

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding the guitar/ordering process. However, don't ask me how much it cost! :P

Anyways: here's some pics!
