    why is there a microwave behind your rickenbacker?

    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    So what are they all and why did you go from 2 amps to 3 new ones?

    are you gonna make use of @Gassage 's Lehle?

    From left to right;

    Carr Rambler, Carr Sportsman, Tone King Falcon

    Why 3 ? A good question. I have amp/GAS searched now for around 3/4 years. Spent loads, made some, lost some, traded some. Recently I realised that i was chasing some amps for clean, some for clipped OD tones, some for BF... So i wrote down WHAT i wanted, and what amps may get me there.... And these were my favourites...

    All related, and all sound magnificent... The Rambler especially is a truly inspirational musical instrument...

    I've been thinking of getting  TK Falcon.  What are your initial thoughts on it?

  • @themarlin

    Well, they are probably not my initial thoughts as I briefly owned one before. Possibly the most fun Ive ever had with an amp.... Don't get me wrong, they can have a smaller sound, not 'boxy' but not as full as big cabs (obviously).

    But the volume and tone settings are VERY interactive, and work wonderfully with the attenuator. It is a truly wonderful home amp, and could probably make your OD pedals redundant...
