Same here. So this Saturday I shall be attending the inaugural Saturday night jam at the Emperor on Hills Road, but on Sunday I'll probably be watching Vera on the telly.

The next IRREGULAR Saturday night jam is on again this week (5th October) at the Emperor on Hills Road, 9pm till (hopefully) late. @Mike_L has already signed up with a 98% probability, and I'll be there with a similar likelihood.

Have edited the original post to reflect the fact that all the Monday jams are now at the Emperor, and added the monthly jams as well. I'll be going to the blues jam this Sunday and (late) to the rock jam this Monday. Here's the latest version

Great thread.  

If I practice (or....er... Learn) some covers (I've only ever really tried my own stuff...Oops) would a pretty useless, tone deaf player be welcome?  I'm more into hard, heavy and fast.  Or hard, heavy and slow, but I quite like some funk, too (though it's been a few years...).

I play there semi-reguarly, so tone deaf fits the bill....

Sign up to the Facebook page and you can negotiate a set in advance. Enter Sandman is about as heavy as it gets, to be fair. I'm curating the blues jam this Sunday, happy to set you up with a 'hard and heavy' 12bar blues set, with some funky blues thrown in.
