I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

I disagree!!! Owning several, and having played for too many years, I can comfortably state that most beginners are firmly glued in the treble/lead position, and most players who know how to play use the bass/rhythm and middle positions too/properly, and the treble/lead where explosives are actually required.

  • I'd definitely be 'both pick-ups on' - possibly with the bridge volume turned down a bit.....

  • I prefer to play rhythm parts on the back (bridge) pickup because otherwise they're too muddy. Solos are good on the front (neck) pickup. In other words the "rhythm/lead" plate is the wrong way round.
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
