I've finally managed to solder the input socket on my tele (after 3 attempts) correctly so there's no buzzing noise when plugged in. I may now move on to build my own guitar....

Large failure....buzzing like anything at rehearsal tonight....tuner pedal couldn't even get a signal to tune it....lucky to have a spare there.

May have to hold off my guitar building dreams....I'll try again I guess.

Continually doing this can I damage the wires at all so they're screwed?

I had them soldered on the wrong way round! All sorted now nice and quiet (for a tele) :-SS
