For those who want one, I'd get the Thomann one and add my own pickup

maybe some of you guys can sell some guitars on ebay too if these Chinese-made ones can sell for £129, perhaps with more upmarket pickups?

I did try one of these and sent it back (The Slider from Thomann) as it sounded dreadful and had no sustain. It wasn't the pickup at fault (although it was pretty shonky).

I bought the Recording King instead and shoved a Mojo P90 into it - its great, and has a much better sound IMHO.
