At the moment not much, but NAMM is just around the corner so that'll change.

TC Electronic are hinting about something new, so as soon as PGS Andy gets his hands on one I'll be gassing for whatever that is ;-)

    Looking, schmooking!

We're 6.5 days into 2015 and so far I've bought:

    Eventide Timefactor
    MXR Univibe
    Digitech Whammy V

But I'm soon to be selling:
    Line 6 M9
Strymon Timeline (assuming I still prefer the Timefactor)
    EB VPJr
and a couple of my homemade dirts
The Assumptions - UAE party band for all your rock & soul desires

    Nuffink. Absolutely nuffink.

    Not even a dirty pedal.

This might be the year I finally get hold of a Subdecay Liquid Sunshine.

Also looking at the Rothwell Love Squeeze compressor, and I might buy a few cheap Chinese Mooer/Joyo etc pedals just to give them a try.

I quite fancy a Mad Professor Bluebird (delay and overdrive in one)
I've been knocked out by the quality of sounds from Strymons and fancy one of their delays like the El Capistan.

Still searching for the "right" wah and/or auto wah for me.

EHX Soul Food or similar Klon clone.

    Alter Ego X4 Vintage

I'd like to try a Wampler Pinnacle too.

Mind you I've got the components for a Klon and a Boiling Point clone... so I may just finish building those.

  • A clean delay would be good, with loop or octave up (digitech time bender looks like a winner, if @drew_fx approves I know it ticks a lot of very important boxes for me)

Sending a couple of pedals to @juansolo for repair, does that count? (promise mate, I will get them to you, I've just got to wait till Saturday!)

I might get a fuzz factory or a son of freakenstein (@bucket will be happy). However, I have my OTT fuzz tones covered really so it would be pointless gas.

I can't think of anything else really - got a great chorus, dirty delay, dirt pedal, fuzzy box... I could use an overdrive maybe? But I don't really need overdrive, at the moment I tend to use either a heavy fuzzy distortion from the df-2 or a full fuzz tone, or clean.

Also, a reverb pedal, but it needs to be a bargain.

As for selling stuff, my digitech hardwire chorus is on the chopping block but I'm very happy with the others. I don't have a big collection.

This is all subject to change, mind.

Marshall Edward the Compressor to try out on bass (turns out I prefer it to the Digitech Bass Squeeze, so keeping it) and a Polytune Mini to replace the ma-hoossive Korg DT10 I was using, so that I can fit the MXR bass fuzz on the board (bought that in 2014 though). :D

That's it for bass pedals for 2015; may treat myself to a tremolo and a wah (as well as probably a 'board and power supply, and likely a G30 as well) if I end up gigging on six-string again though.

Oh, and probably a Radial Bigshot i/o and an outboard acoustic preamp of some sort so that I can take my dreadful singer/songwriter bollocks out of the house.

I have a few that I'd buy if money was no object, including:

    EHX Flanger Hoax
    EHX Pitchfork
    Digitech Bass Wah
    EB Jr Vol pedal
    EQD Hummingbird
    EQD Palisades
    EQD Bit Commander
    Free The Tone Flight Time
    Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude
    Boss SL-20 Slicer

. . . but I'm getting used to the new stuff I've bought first, and I'm wondering about maybe buying a cheap laptop/tablet to do some recording with (sadly my Kindle Fire HD seems pretty useless for such things). I've got a desktop PC but I want something I can move about as I can't make much noise in the evening so I'll probably have to hire a rehearsal room and write/record there.

I've bought 4 of your list in the last 2 months. Good taste!

    So far:

Diamond Compressor - Lovely. Adds a fatness to the tone, so ends up as permanently 'on'. Was not looking for major squash. Reminds me a bit of the Rothwell Love Squeeze, equally yellow and equally great pedal.

Skreddy Echo - Just received today. After about 10 mins of messing about with it, without doubt the best delay pedal I have ever used. Been through loads of them and this is the winner, no question. From my initial tweaking I am not sure how easy it is to dial in VERY subtle settings, seems there is not much range in the 'barely on' positions, but you really won't care as it just sounds lush and amazing.

Not massively into modulation or delays so I'm just going to buy the best dirt there is this year and hopefully put a stop to the pedal madness once and for all.
My shopping list includes a few Cornish pedals a Kingsley Jester, DAM Mk2 and maybe an Ethos overdrive.
My radar is on for a Hiwatt custom 50, before I start the on the pedals.
