They have some really cool looking guitars in the HB range- I particularly like the Mosrite styled ones, the "Prince" Tele and the Brian May guitar.
However, I struggle to convince myself that they're an exception to the rule that you get what you pay for. Thomann have a fantastic photographer who can make cheap stuff look like a million dollars, so even if you can gut the guitar and replace all the stuff they cut corners on to make a guitar that retails for under a ton, the pay for the setup/fret dress etc. I suspect they'll still look and feel cheap in real life, and you'll be out the sort of money that could have bought you a nicer guitar to start with.
...at least that's whay I'm telling myself.

I do wish they wouldn't sell guitars so cheap though, as I have nowhere to put them all.
