Updating a line 6 M13

Hello

My recently purchased Line 6 M13 doesn't have the latest version of the firmware on it - has anyone else managed to update their M5, M9 or M13 with success and what cables would i need?

I did when I had an M9. Just ordered the cheapest USB to Midi cable I could find on Amazon and that worked (once I got the connections round the right way).

Iirc the midi leads go the opposite way to what you expect (or at least what I expected!)

Also, if you've set up any scenes or effects, make a note of them as you'll lose them in the update.

Argghhh cannot get this bloomin thing to update, have tried and tried again with the instructions and also some youtube videos (which were frankly rubbish) but it for some reason will not update.

Any ideas anyone?
