Well, I'm back in the game - two bands in a week :o

IanSavageIanSavage Frets: 1319

Joined one last Sunday on bass, lining up an audition with another on drums (having done one of those hideous video audition things :s) - trouble is, whichever one starts to get properly serious first I'm going to be obliged to give priority to, possibly to the point of ditching the other :/

Anyone else managing to keep more than one serious band going at the same time as a full-time job?

  • Nice one :)

I personally know that I don't have the time or energy for two bands, so I don't do it (despite invitations to do so). On the other hand, our singer has a covers band too, and my dad has 4 bands on the go at the moment (well, he did at last count).

  • Depends how serious, I've got 2 on the go but even at peak activity we were only doing a gig a month in my main band (and we're down to maybe or 5 a year recently).
