I found this video on my YT subscriptions page:

So I think someone had the idea that we run a contest here, using these backings?  Should we maybe have a different thread for each of the 4 backings and have the forum closing date the same as the JTC closing date?  Should we use the voting system that's already in place for the composition challenges and the ROTM challenges?

Sounds like an ace idea. 

On the vid there's rock, funk, fusion, blues and metal backing tracks.  So a right mix to get stuck in with.

Yeah I think I would lean towards the rock one myself.

Me too prob. From what I heard they all sounded pretty decent. Really liked the funk track.

I'm liking the fusion track, but I'm buggered if I know what to do with it
