Gibson Strap Buttons

Do the two strap buttons you get stock on a Gibson (pre-2014 re-design) have a different internal diameter?

I remember they use a different screw size between the two, so does that mean the two strap buttons on one guitar are different? (logic suggests they should have)

I'm looking to replace them with something with either a larger or elliptical head. I use Grolsh washers on some guitars and Dunlop Strap Loks on others).

(I don't like Schaller/Dunlop style strap-locks)

    No, the buttons are the same, it's just the screws that are different.
