Treble boosters

Does anyone have any recommendations for an affordable treble booster?  There seems to be a bit of a gap in the market around the £50 - £70 mark.  Obviously there are loads of £100+ boutique jobs, but nothing in the Boss compact type price range.

I'm going through a bit of a Brian May fanboy phase at the moment but the Fryer units are pretty pricey.

Sold out at the moment but it works really well and is as cheap as chips.

Does require use of a soldering iron though

I've had a few but the two I kept are a Homebrew Germania and a Thunder Tomate Phil Hilborne Fat TB. They both have a few tonal options that you don't get on most other boosters.

I have a Beano boost which is awesome. Last one on ebay went for about £80.

I have a troubled rooster from @Forge effects on this forum. It's a bit above the price range you were talking but in terms of value you are getting a hand made, hand wired pedal with point to point construction. The build quality is phenomenal. I have gigged mine to death since I got it and it is a staple of my board. Brilliant pedal and very powerful. Plus extra switching options to give more of a mid or full range boost in addition to the treble boost. Get one!

I've been looking at the Vox Flat 4, they have been reduced and only £59 at Richtone.  It looks like it it can be used in a few ways, and treble booster is one of them..

I think Thunder Tomate have gone out of business.

I've got a BYOC Triboost you could have for £55 delivered. It's in a Hammond 1590b sized enclosure. 3 boosts in 1 - a germanium boost based on a Rangemaster with a toggle switch to select full, flat or treble boost mode, a silicon boost based on the LPB1 and a mosfet clean boost. Pm me if your interested and I can get a pic over to you tonight.

They're very simple circuits, so if you ever fancied having a go at making a pedal, a treble booster would be an ideal first project.
