17 year old kid wants people to give her 2/3's of £1000 so she can buy her dream guitar! just so she can play a nice piece of kit....there is no offer of anything in return, just that she's a selfless person and donates to charity....

So are we saying that my chances of crowd funding to raise 2k to buy my old Tyler back from Coda are doomed to failure ?
Especially as I'm a fat, bald, unattractive middle aged dude who isn't really in any financial difficulty as such just short of the cash I need to buy another guitar..

I'm 17 and I have shitloads of gear. I just work in a job I hate every sunday and save up. If its her dream guitar, she should earn the money to buy it. Not only will she not look like a twat for wanting charity, it'll be all the sweeter knowing she worked for it.
