If all names are acceptable, nothing is an insult. Please can we clarify which terms of endearment will not be tolerated on the forum? Twat?Cunt? Cock? Man United fan? Northerner? Dentist?

It depends entirely on context but I would suggest that most obvious racist terms would be unacceptable except in explanatory situations.

For me, the suggestion that someone may be an investment banker when they are not is about a low as it gets.

I know a lot would deem 'You Sir, are a drummer!' as unacceptable, but for me that's just really saying that someone owns a van.

It's all about context. A vitriolic personal attack without any swearing is not on. 

Calling someone a "lovable cunt" is fine

We're considering an idea based on this (I think in line with that PM thread), but we need to iron out the kinks on exactly how it's going to work. I'd hope that between that and the ignore function, we'd be able to massively reduce the number of flagged posts
