FS: Zoom Aidean Mesia M-60 Combo 1x12

Continuing my gear clean out! Here's a 1980's Japanese made Zoom Aidean Mesia. Sounds beautiful and despite its cheeky design I think it sounds more like a vintage Fender. The reverb is lush. Not much hi gain, more a clean pedal platform and it's bloomin loud (has got master volume though). Valves are Groove Tubes and Mullard. Honestly this is a cracker of an amp but I need space more than amps with a little one on the way. Just back from a service and all working beautifully. Looking for £200.

Looks interesting (if I manage to shift my current amp). Wonder how much and how easy a refinish would be on that, as it seems like a good solid amp if it had a visual makeover as well

With the master volume how does it sound at home levels?

It sounds great, nice and clean pretty much all the way but it does do dirty too, a sort of silver face twin sort of sound. I actually asked Zilla for a quote as I was going to do the exact same thing and I think it was around the same price as getting a new cab made. £230 odd if I recall correctly.

Blimey, who knew re-covering something would be so much! Still tempting though, with a nice coloured tolex covering and a new grill cloth (and maybe lose the Zoom logo!) and it would be excellent

I'll have to try anew to sell my existing amp...

it would probably not cost as much elsewhere, Zilla was my first thought and only contact. There's probably someone here who could do a great job for less?

I always wanted one of these. Sadly I'm having to sell my collection of 'unusual' amps to boost the family finances so I can't justify another purchase!

Great amp for someone and a good price.

it's around the same as my Matchless Lightning which is 45lbs. It's comfortable to carry with one hand over short distances, yes.
