Hi all,
Gonna use this thread to update on the latest things we've been developing / playing with - feedback always welcome! - and any new products or services available.
WoodRiffs Humbucker Pickup Rings
Definitely not new news but gotta be mentioned - the first set of products in our WoodRiffs wooden guitar components range is these solid wood humbucker rings, available in curved and tapered versions.
Glowing Stuff
We've recently started making our own proprietary glowing material for guitar inlays, now available both as blanks and essentially any of our ready cut inlay shapes. So, dots and other stuff. We can of course also do logos and any custom work. It's green, blue and what is supposed to be white, but it's more a very light blue.
Ringed Inlay Dots
Playing around with some inlays and made these ringed inlay dots, great for a bit of contrast or we can do them with wood centres to match fingerboard material. Slightly peacocky.
Finishing Kits
Started piecing together some finishing kits - an all-in-one package to go from bare wood to finished guitar. At the moment 'natural' is available with sunburst colours sold separately, need to also do some for painted finishes. Is this of interest, everything you need in one box with some instructions to go with? At the moment everything is just available separately on the site.
Configurable and Hybrid Bodies
We've been making OEM bodies for a while and offering a couple of styles on the site, basically just standard vintage S and T replacements. We're now putting together the final details of configurable bodies through the site to cater for whatever combo of neck/bridge/outline/pickups/etc you might want. S and T first, other models to follow.
That's all for now!
