FS/FT: Cornford Roadhouse 30 - 1x12 combo

I'm downsizing, so I'm selling my trusty Cornford Roadhouse 30 combo with a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker.

This amp sounds amazing, and can cover a broad sonic palette.

The amp is in very good condition with a few minor scratches in the tolex, and one foot missing. It shouldn't be a problem to find a new foot cheap!

I'm looking for 400£.

I am interested in trading with a smaller inexpensive combo like a Vox Pathfinder 15 or a VHT 6 plus cash my way.
Guitars could also be interesting.

It can be picked up in Sonning, Berkshire or shipped on the buyer's expense.

  • Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll pass - I'm not really an SG type.

    Cheers

This could be just what I'm looking for - let me read up on them and I'll get back to you. In the meantime, would an Egnater Tweaker 15 head interest you?

Edit: alas, I'm after a compact combo, and I gather these are gather these are quite generously proportioned :(

  • How compact do you need it to be?

I'm afraid the Tweaker isn't really what I need.

I'm not quite sure, but I'm not really into the "normal" shapes like a LP, tele or strat.

I tend to stray away from the beaten path when i choose guitars.

So, it's easier if you list some things you'd like to trade :)

But I'm quite interested in a Jazzmaster! Preferably white, but will consider any color.

Used to own the Roadhouse 30 head with 6l6s. Thought the tones were ace. Very versatile. Good luck with sale mate.

Sorry, looking for a smaller wattage amp, preferably a VHT 6 or Vox Pathfinder 15.

  • Does size matter (ooh, er!)? I've got a 5W Epi Valve Special which is probably a similar size to the Cornford but obviously nowhere near as loud!

Size does matter, but I want it very small! ;).
I simply need a small no frills amp (1 volume, 1 tone is fine!) to practice with untill the end of December.
I heard the Epi Special, and I think I'll pass. Thanks anyway!

  • Sorry forgot what thread I was on. I don't have one to sell but just thought I'd suggest it as I played through one recently and it was pretty good :)
