If you've seen the most recent couple of episodes of Doctor Who, you'll have seen Peter Capaldi playing guitar. Anyone know what it is? I don't think it's a Parker Fly, but my friend thinks it is.

Yamaha must be jumping for joy at that product placement.

I'm pretty happy for electric guitar to be shown as a cool thing to a primetime audience , who may never have seen a guitar if they only see music via X Factor or The Voice etc.

Although compact it will be very loud as it will be bigger on the inside

Yamaha should definitely re-reissue these now they have a celebrity endorser. I'd at least think about buying one, but they should put normal-sized pickups in them so we can replace them easily if we don't like the stock ones.
