no pics just now, but I've got a Novation Bass Station II on my desk at work. I use it as my main midi controller and sound testing source.

They're cracking mate. We've also got a Prophet, a Prodigy, a Juno 106, and a few other synths and keyboards knocking about too. We've got a Hartmann Neuron too, but no one knows how to use it! :))

I want my Korg Mono-Poly back. I made a huge, huge mistake when I swapped it for a high end Yamaha drum machine. God, I was stupid back then. I would literally poke a tramp's eyes out if it would get me one.

I sit at a desk and hate the world. I don't get paid for that part of it though. *grumble grumble*

Nah... I make stuff like this:

This is killing me, really missing all my old gear, Korg ms10 was the last to go, needed all new capacitors (around 40 I believe) so sold it, whish I'd just done the soldering :-(
    Korg prophecy, poly800, mono poly.
Jen sx1000, casino fz1 sampler( light years ahead of its time)
I could name probably a dozen more, not including all the drumboxes and "groove machines"
Quite fancy one of the new breed Roland/Korg analog mini boxes.

I've got a Microkorg which I like a lot but almost never use - one day I'll get round to a permanent set up and then it might get used a bit more.

Anyone tried the new Roland synths, they look like great value for money.

Nothing wrong with vista's, they were the reason we moved on our hardware synth, not used one in years now but I imagine all the pc issues back in the day are a thing of the past now.

To be honest I haven't looked at synths for almost 2 decades. I bought a Korg n264 and have been pretty happy with that ever since. The one thing that I did hanker after was a Korg triton, the biggest one with full length keyboard and weighted keys.

I would love either of these.

These were the first synths I learned how to use as a teenager at a local arts workshop where you could book the sound studio for an evening for next to nothing. They are so very much imprinted on my musical taste too, with the likes of Hawkwind and Gong and Eno
I think for practical purposes I'd go for the AKS 'Briefcase', not just for portability, but because it has the rather handy sequencer built in. Annoyingly, someone I used to work with had one he'd picked out of a skip (!) but refused to sell it to me, despite the fact he didn't know what to do with it... :(

At the moment I have a Korg Prophecy, Korg MS2000, Microkorg XL+, Korg Monotron delay and Yamaha SY85. Don't know how I have all the Korg stuff (I used to have an MS10 at one time but had to sell it for nappies!) - it just happened! The Yamaha has been around for years and is looking like it will be for the chopping block soon.
