Tumble dryers are excellent for defrosting frozen chickens, but they're a bit noisy when they're doing it.

Mine does now !!!  :-)

The old heater was a pig to get out and I think I may have created a tiny hairline crack in the plastic outer drum just around the heater hole by being too heavy handed when tightening up the mounting bolt on the new one.... but hey ho...  I can't see any leaks so far.

I find it difficult to understand how it can be more efficient for the machine to draw cold rather than hot water.

I miss that laser so much. But I fear the overtightening may lead to a flood in the kitchen, thus destroying the laminate flooring once and for all.

I think they're cool!  I didn't need the laser on for that shot, but I switched it on for effect.

I've just ordered an  infra-red digital thermometer laser gun, 

gonna be Judge Dredd in my house now !!!
