Withdrawn FT Hofner new president 2014

Hi all, this is my truly fantastic Hofner new president, by Thomas Stuhlein at Hofner Germany.
The top is tap tuned and the whole guitar is hand carved including the neck.
This is a phenomenal player, apart from the pickup surround nothing is plastic, the tail piece and scratch plate are even made from huge/thick chunks of ebony.
The workmanship is impeccable, I have honestly never played a guitar so well made as jazz /archtop go it's at the top of its game.

Action is very low... Can go lower or higher,

The sound is bright and true, played acoustically it's projection and tone for this type of guitar is 2nd to none, the pickup is of course just as good.

These are still going for new £3000

The frets are near perfect.
Comes with case and case candy

Condition is fantastic apart from one or 2 very small nicks. And a tiny dent in the heel.

I have just bought a Taylor which is more suited to my style, so I'm happy to trade this for other musical gear, especially guilds or 12 strings

Would an Avalon A32 12 string be of any interest?

It's spruce over rosewood (all solid), small jumbo. Irish built from the initial Avalon incarnation straight after they parted company from lowden.

Fishman ust and onboard electrics, hiscox case. Cosmetically there is some play wear but nothing horrific.

It used to belong to Amy Wadge, so there's a slight chance it's been in the same room as Ed Sheeran!

Best 12 I've owned including a f212 and a f412 but I've not used it since last December iirc.

If it sounds of interest I'll sort some pics.

I likes hofners but i think they r underrated tbh. I have an original golden hofner that will never be sold. Good luck with the sale
