I'm not talking about top end speed though, I'm talking about torque.
Yep, you don't get that from smaller capacity bikes. I love the acceleration in the first 2 gears on my bike, intoxicating.

Oh it's more than a tad loud, managed to modify some after market baffles to fit and wrapped them, still louder than I'd like but much better none the less.

Must say I find, running about generally, I keep my GS LC on the Rain setting - Dynamic is WAY too 'entertaining' for traffic and potholes.
I've not used Rain mode yet but I tend to take the Tiger in the wet.
Road mode 90% of the time and Dynamic when I want to let loose.

I've not been brave enough to try Dynamic Pro.

    Check out this muppet.
    Surprised he didn't crash earlier.

Comes off around 8:00 for the short attention spanners.

Horrible to watch. His throttle control is terrible, he seems to treat it like an on/off switch. Lucky nothing was coming the other way when he was wandering around all over the road. Lucky he didn't hit a tree when he came off too.

Will you lot stop it! I can't ride a "proper" bike until I do my license, but with Summer on it's way I can see myself blowing some serious cash on a smaller 125 bike for shits and giggles.

Haven't owned a bike that has a motor other than me legs for years, what's insurance like these days for a 125?

just renewed mine last month 12 plate YBR £94 fully comp with

Ah ok, they were expensive for me last time round but looks like they're a very good deal for you. I went with Adelaide last renewal.

What a div. I've been on rideouts with people like that which is why I don't go on rideouts these days. The rider in the video reminds me of somebody I know who claims he's a bit of a riding god but is an accident waiting to happen. He'll stick his bike in 1 gear (usually 4th) and take it to the redline between corners then dawdle round a bend at 20mph practically upright holding the rest of us up. It's hard work riding with people like that.

That guy needs to stay away from corners, any corners and stick to straight roads.

Running wide on almost every corner left and right almost stopping going in and hard out ffs it`s not hard to be smooth, he isn`t cornering at any speed. That is scarily bad riding.

Got to be a new rider who needs training, we`ve all been there, lets hope he learns a lot from that vid.

That was horrendous, he spent most of the time either running wide or with his head in the decapitation zone on left handers. He seemed to panic and stand the bike up instead of leaning it over to get out of trouble..

Big traily is in having panniers fitted.
They gave me this as a loan bike.

Glad I'm not in a hurry.

Haha- no I originally didn't ask for a loan bike, then they admitted that the pannier fitting would take 3-4 hours, not 2 as they haven't done it before and it was the only one left.

    It is an interesting experience.

Surprised you could get that out.  Don't get lumbering around with wind up your trousers either.

Just replaced the Karoo 3's on my GS with Anakee 3's, for a notable reduction in noise and slightly improved road performance. May treat the Karoo's as 'winter tyres', although the compound is quite hard.

Garage loaned me a Stelvio for a couple of hours - gotta love that big-block Guzzi.

This is timely as I am considering the A3's on my Tiger.

I'm being a bit hard on the Thunderbird- it is just very different to what I am used to.
I am taking the rest of the day off to cruise around on it so on some level I do like it.

I had considered a Rocket III at some stage, figured I'd have to graduate through different weighted bikes in order to control it.
Seem to be doing ok with the Tbird though.
Everything just requires a bit more planning.
