Finally decided on a pickup for my esquire project. Oil city hardman strung her up with Elixir 10's and away to go. MJT tele body in very light ash Fender Mexican neck- I love em and great value for money. Wiring- not yet fully sorted and I think I'll get some better spec pots. But that's about it. Gonna give her a blast later! http://i684.photobucket.com/albums/vv208/therockmonster/image_zpse0c897ac.jpg

Go the Esquire route, looks great and can sound awesome. I have ended up with this circuit. The straight out gives a raw twangy tone, then I can set vol and tone for rhythm like a mustang, but the Eldred mod, clean doesn't sound that great, but with a tubes creamer type OD it sounds real honky HB. Very versatile. If you wNt to hear it give me a call. Taff http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7440801/Guitar Wiring/Esquire3-Way3.jpg
