Excellent Rundown from PG, as usual, but the tech here is fantastic, and happy to talk about pot values, trem springs and all that junk. Ultimately though, it's all pretty standard, as he says "He could play a Silvertone through a Pignose and it'd still be Jeff Beck"

Give the man a pedalboard that can hold all his pedals for crissake.

Plenty of big tours are done with loaned equipment... admittedly most of it is backline but if he has a particular strat he likes, why does he need to *own* more...

Just proves its in the fingers and not the gear. How many "tone hounds" would look at that set up and think... "meh", eh? And a Marshall DSL taking preference over a PA20... the guys on TGP have probably just imploded after watching that!! ;-)
