WTD: Giggable amp with clean and dirty sounds

Looking on behalf of someone who only needs a simple amp that can do a nice clean but, more importantly, can do rawkous dirt for grunge/metal and can be switched with a remote footswitch.

A combo would be good, but can get by with a head.

Something close to Peterborough would help.
