Alright all you classic rock fans- whose song is this, Spencer Davis, or Traffic??

Was looking for this song, and bought CD's from both bands.  None of them had this song on it...

    Wiki agrees with me....Traffic.

I've got it on a Steve Winwood Best Of compilation (Revolutions)

Yeah the version on the live CD/DVD is pretty good.

Anyway no need to guess...I'm right, just give me my wisdom!

I think that should be more @Pyroman 's job but done anyway. I have tried watching the Traffic in Hyde Park thing but I couldn't get into it. The Clapton-Winwood gig ( BBC4 or SkyArts I saw it on) was good though. I don't quite understand why Clapton has continued to perform well coupled with others but become such a boring old fart on his own records.

The riff from Dear Mr Fantasy reminds me of something else although I can never quite place what.

  •   Thanks guys!   Even more so for the video.

I've been getting heavily into both of these guys recently, so both together is awesome.  In fact, Steve Winwood was my first concert.  Outdoors at 16 yrs old, with Jimmy Cliff opening.  It was superb.  Back in the 80's when "Higher Love" first came out.

  • I've always liked the Mike Bloomfield / Al Kooper version as well.
