I need P90s back in my life so putting this up for sale again.
2004 Legacy Tribute in blueburst.
Ash body, 22 fret maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Pickups have been changed by a previous owner for a set of Voltage strat pickups. I rewired the guitar for master volume/master tone though will include the original pots if you want to reinstate the treble/bass system. Very good condition body and frets look excellent. Also comes with a hardcase.
£220 delivered or will trade for something with p90s, humbucker sized p90s, or humbuckers. I'm based in the Northampton area these days. Here's some pics, any questions just ask.
This one gives an accurate idea of the colour in daylight

Yeah - why do so many G&L strat shapes come in blueburst? I could go for a legacy or S500 but ain't so mad keen on the blue!
How do the new pickups make it sound?
You want a nice black ASAT [/quote]
Everyone needs a black ASAT... but only after they get an awesome blueburst Legacy
... indeed, that would no doubt be a very nice thing !!
I'm so hard to please ... I like to see wood grain so not sure about the black but don't really like the blue either ... oh man ... GAS'll get ya ... lol
On a serious note monquixote ... now I have a Tribute ASAT I do wonder at the improvement that a US model would bring ... for the extra cost
@Adam_MD
does it have a G&L hard case?
Can't believe it's still here
I'm here to scratch my GAS itch once more.
Apart from the blueburst - which is not on top of my favourite colour list ... and the rosewood - I like maple on Fender-ish things -
I'm wondering whether this would give me more / different / better in comparison to my Squier CV 50s strat (whose 2-tone burst finish I really like).
The neck on my CV is a little on the thin / small side.
What is the neck on this like?
If it is like my tribute ASAT special it'll be good.
Where are you based? I travel a lot for work and might be able to meet you if you wanted to check it out.
I'm in Stockton, work in Middlesbrough (Teesside - north east).
Does any one know if the 50s and 60s CV strats have the same neck profile?
ok - no probs as I'm sure P&P would be good
can you describe the pickups and controls more ... what have they brought to the guitar in terms of character etc? And what do you have left from the stock items?
