Fender Jazz Bass

I played a very well setup Fender Jazz Bass yesterday. To say I played one might be pushing it, more played root and octaves. Lovely neck on the bass. Discovered that Basses are as addictive as 6 strings. Do GAS pangs ever end.....

I played one (american standard that is) a while back - it was fantastic.

My US Standard Jazz is amazing. All I've done is add the stealth string retainer as found on the deluxes. I actually think the standard sounds better than the deluxe. Mine is very lightweight too which is a bonus.

Last year when doing a US mini tour I had a US jazz as a rental.... however I much prefer my aerodyne jazz. Perhaps it just wasn't setup properly.

In fact.. I don't think I've played a better bass than my own jazz!
