I thought long and hard about getting one for when I was travelling. But, while it's probably great for learning boxes and grips, I've come to think that it's pointless to train those without training your ears at the same time. So that you learn how things look and sound, instead of just how they look. In fact, because the strings on the shredneck are out of tune, it might throw your ears off. When I practice scales and finger independence, if I can't hear what I'm playing I have a very hard time getting my speed going. Just my opinion. In the end I went for a headless travel guitar for £80 which was v/ limited but was an instrument which could be tuned.
