Tab, technique, chord request

I know there are some very clever transcribe types on here so here goes......... There's a Bowie track that only appears on the David live cd (tower. Philly) called here today gone tomorrow and for the life of me I can't get close to what the guitarist David Sanborn is playing......any help would be fantastic

Are you sure you mean David Sanborn? He's a Sax player. Unless there's a guitarist with the same name.

This is what the 1st four bars sound like to me. I'm not sure when I'll get chance to listen to any more of it. But hopefully this will give you a start.

In bar 4, the notation for the hammer from C to C# is a bit clunky the way I've done it. I couldn't quickly figure out a way of notating it in Guitar Pro 6 as I would have liked to have done it.
