I'm in - but is there a specific version we need to buy to ensure it hits number 1? Surely it'll just be loads of them at lower numbers otherwise, which in itself would be hilarious if the top 40 played it 17 times :-D

This is the first I've heard of a new campaign.

It's got no hope of beating the X-Factor winner. And this time I'd have to say - she was ace.

The RATM thing was great, but as a one off. Now every year these pointless campaigns crop up.

I mean does a no.1 single actually matter in 2013?

If it's just to stick two fingers up to the x-factor lot them I sort of get that, but they don't loose out in anyway (the same number of people will still buy whatever the winning song is this year).

I'd usually agree with this. Then I heard AC\DC have never had a top 10 single in the UK. Feel like they've probably earned at least one!

These campaigns are getting tedious... the RATM thing was cool, but this is a bit... well, cold. OK ACDC haven't had a top 10 hit... well, having one by dint of a FB campaign to keep the X factor off the top spot isn't really something to crow about, is it? And its not like they need the cash, really... 

Sorry, I love ACDC, but I won't join in on this one.

ACDC are on Columbia, which is Sony, same as the X factor stuff. So what's the point?

Also agree 100%.  This is just another case of herd following and I won't be told what music to buy.  

I too love AC/DC by the way and as such already own Highway To Hell.

Well, they got No.4 so I think thats great, don't forget there's kids out there who might not of even heard of ACDC and it might just broaden their taste from the media driven force feeding they get every day.
