    I got black AS64 with original footswitch only needs battery replaced. This is loud and heavy !! Bought from Ivor Mairants many years ago and then only Freebird use.

    It has a wired in battery for the memory presets I think. Lasts only five years so must have gone by now.
    Not too happy soldering directly to the circuit board as it doesn't fit in a spring case. Specialist soldering required.This a big heavy amplifier and no use for busking !! Contains two Celestion  Vintage 30 speakers 
    Hoping this will bring back to life the memory side. Stageboard brings up all old presets and getting it checked over by amp shop in N6.Happy to flog it when its absolutely spot on and fully cleaned up.As good as any 30 year old anyway !!!

    Would the guts of an AS64 be of interest?  Pulled the chassis out of mine years ago and used the cab for something else then the cab got nicked, and the chassis and stageboard have lived in the cupboard ever since.  No guarantee it still works (it did when I removed it from the cab aside from the usual dodgy buttons!) but might be handy for spares, to make into a head, or just use as a really heavy 1980's themed doorstop.
