Just built two stomp boxes

Both from pedal parts.
The fuzz face (with Hendrix mod) and the Zendrive clone.
Really not that difficult with a bit of GCSE electronics knowledge for debugging.
Only problem I have is I snapped the leg off one of the pots. Maplins unfortunately only sell pots with scrappy plastic shafts. So New pot on order.
Both sound great now need to stick them in the boxes.
Doing these actually takes the most time.
Found some Laser printer compatible clear sticky back decal paper on line.
Just scanned the box, then in GIMP created different layers for text and graphics.
Just waiting for paint to dry now.

In due course allthouth the soldering is a bit crap need a finer tip and thinner solder wire. Lots of big blobs if solder all over the place

Maplins do loads of pots with metal shafts - what pot value are you looking for?

A 500k B type pot. I used the germanium trannies, the 176s so I can daisy chain with other FX

On your 176s did you measure them or did you buy them as a pair?

They came with the kit.
On another note anybody know how to make White decals?
Obviously you can't print in white.
Tried yellow (black painted box) but it doesn't come out very bright at all

The only way to get white using decals is to get a white decal and (say the pedal is black) is fill the design with black and leave the writing white or unprinted as it will be.
