WTB: USB Recording interface - 8 channel+

Hi guys,

Looking for an upgrade to my Alesis EIEI which can only record 4 channels at once. Ideally could do with 8 channels, and has to be a USB interface rather than Firewire as it's for a modern laptop.

Anything out there?

I don't have one for sale, but I can highly recommend the Tascam US-1641 and US-1800 (basically the same hardware), and the Behringer FCA1616 is also supposed to be excellent and cheap (it's both Firewire and USB, and I believe it has ADAT expansion unlike the Tascams).
