Here's the first of the blues-rock interesting chords which I've noted in my diary as the year has gone along. It's the opening chord of the title track of the album 'Slingshot' by Carl Verheyen from the mid-90s, essentially an E-shaped barre chord at the 2nd fret but with the open top E string kept ring, which gives makes a dominant 7th interval against the background major chord. So overall the chord is
F#7: (2)x4320
For the riff he toggles this with its associated sus4 chord F#7sus4 (2)x4420.
