    Brilliant!

I got this over the summer, for £32:

It was exactly what I was looking for (had to have 5 shelves), and new they are £500!

(Oh and I got the NAD tuner for £12!)

  • You should turn it into a mult-level pedal board!

cool, from what I worked out this was £300 originally

I was lucky with my AV rack too, got this for £20

no way would I spend that on one, but the quality compared to the cheap glass ones you get from argos/currys etc.. is miles apart..

so £750 worth in total for £30, that'll do me.. and it means my records are not in my favoured position.. before new stand this unit was horizontal with hifi stuff along the top, it looked alright but a pain choosing a record.

I just got one for free.

It's been in our loft for the last 16 years, but I've just got it down so it can get moved with us next week.  Also recovered was my old Dual turntable, which still seems to work, amazingly.

I have resolved to use the hifi rack for the hifi, rather than cramming it all under the TV, in the new place.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Nice! I'm tempted to start a "show your turntable" thread :)
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

  • Ah, it was the glossy plinth that made me think of the new Rega Planars

it was between this or the Rega w/ performance pack and after much testing and debating at Frank Harveys in Coventry the Pro-Ject won... and even when my LP12 is done(being custom built) I will still keep this and use it for playing 45rpm's. its a great turntable.
