Neck: wudtone or nitro?

Pros and cons please.

looking to put an aged finish to a raw musikraft neck that will be arriving soon. The wudtone stuff seems easy to apply and the colours look ok on the website. Nitro on a neck, I can see being a pain, lots of gathering on the frets, scraping it away, etc.

I think you have answered your own question!
Wudtone is certainly easiest to do, where nitro is more authentic.....
I found the Amber Wudtone a bit orange for my taste and would go for the more yellow colour next time.....

You could go for an oil finish - much cheaper than Wudtone, less orange and oil finishes, IMHO and experience, last longer.

paulnb57 - Can the amber be thinned out, last thing I want is an orange neck.

Any recommendations brand wise for a tinted oil finish??

You could use a tinted Danish oil - like the antique pine one - looks nice 
A couple coats of that and then switch to the regular Danish and and it'll look vintage

Can I apply the Wudtone amber over the antique pine danish oil?

I can't vouch for Wudtone's compatibility as haven't used it

I know photos are not a reliable representation of colour, but the colour above is similar to the Amber Wudtone......just a bit orange for my taste.......
