Dan is based in Swindon, Andy Pett at Riffs is a cool guy and presumably they know each other. Certainly the Tin Spirits have played there.

I got as far as the paypal page (given it`s 3 miles from me) then decided I couldn`t face a whole evening of it.......... time prob better spent going to watch a band.

To be fair it does clash with The Hamsters From Hell at the Vic (I used to be in another band with their keyboard player)

I can't make it, but I'd be interested to hear everyone's feedback.

Can't make up in my mind whether or not this will be educational, or just an opportunity to spend an evening, as @TimmyO says, nerding about pedals with some beer.

The distinction being that I'm not sure there will be much to actually learn. Which is fine, but paying £25 to listen to some people talk about pedals seems steep to me. But at least there will be the hallowed red tele to hear ;-)

I don't get the problem with the price I'm assuming they're having to pay for the venue, the band will need to be paid and any amount left will go to help funding the show I highly doubt they're going to make much money off this.  

For £20 (with my patreon discount) I get a night out with a few beers watching some pretty decent guitarists playing some really nice gear and not from a YouTube video so the sound quality will be better.  

I've decided to go to this instead of the guitar show this year which would have cost me £14.50 with the admin fee so personally I think the price is totally fine.
