Heat shrink differences

i'm about to re-solder a batch of patch cables using Switchcraft 380 plugs, which do require additional strain relief, hence me remaking them. Whilst on the designacable website, I see there are a couple of different types of heat shrink. Single wall or adhesive glue lined heat shrink.

does anyone have experience of either? What's the best for patch cables? Links below just in case

The glue-lined stuff makes a really strong, reinforced joint which is better for high-stress applications - which on-pedalboard patch cables aren't really. It also makes future repair an absolute pain.

The glued stuff is useful for instrument cable where more stress is put on the lead.
