  • Is it me, or does nearly every Strat player go for that farty, driven neck pick-up sound (sorry - 'tone') these days?

    I'm not a fan of it at all....

    you should cos there you will find excellent playing, outstanding tone and music in fact heres a little taste and indeed some pointers

    if it takes the sting away, I prefer the smaller one too  =)
    Maybe my butt does hurt but I've got a cream for that.
    Unfortunately even the best cream in the world won't shrink a freakishly large headstock on a Strat down to a normal sized one.
