I remember someone else building a half rosewood, half maple boarded Strat once, to settle the argument about which sounds warmer... He called it the "Luke Warm Water" Strat.

You need to know your Tap-ology for that one.

Someone somewhere owns a Gordon Smith Graduate with a reverse Fender style headstocked maple boarded maple neck. I saw it in John's workshop over 10 years ago.

How would that bridge work? Aside from that I 
love a tele-strat hybrid, maybe not quite this one. That headstock is rather Probett innit? Or am I just stating the bleeding obvious there that everyone else knew anyway?
