  • Piano/synth and banjo. I love the versatility and inspiration that a synth can bring, but hearing banjo rolls always makes me smile

The harp. How the hall do you gig with one of them?
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

I was at a large train station and saw a lady with one.  Huge soft/padded bag, wheels, and a young man pushing it for her!

Double bass - so called because they sound twice as good as a bass guitar?

In the same way you gig with a double bass, or percussion, etc. Harps weigh around 20-40kg and are "portable" with effort, so you'd put it in a padded bag or case, transport it in a car etc. The bag probably has a semi-rigid floor and wheels.

Trombone because I play one. Then predictably drums and piano. With piano though it depends alot how it's played - can't be doing with virtuoso concertos and the like.

Got to be drums, I wanted to be a drummer before I took up guitar. Got an electric kit and can knock out some ok grooves, mainly use it for demoing. Can also play a bit of keys, would love a Rhodes or Hammond.

    Harp's lovely too.

Well, it's kind of a 1-1 draw at the moment.
